Community Service

Helping others through local communities and organizations is a focal point of our guild.

Our “Comfort Quilt” project provides quilts to those in need and for special occasions.  Many members work on these quilts for storm and fire victims, dialysis patients, nursing and veterans home residents, shelters, babies at risk, etc. In 2012, they made and donated nearly 100 quilts.

We donate fifty flannel burp cloths per month to the Fairview Wyoming Hospital.  Fairview staff gives a burp cloth to each newborn baby. We also provide Angel Baby clothing and blankets to the hospital as needed.

We donate a quilt for the first and last baby of the year born at the Fairview Wyoming Hospital.

Our members have made and donated over 100 quilts to the Quilt of Valor program for U.S. service men and women.
